Texas School of Islamic Studies (TSIS) is an Islamic educational institution dedicated to nurturing students upon the Qur’an and Sunnah while maintaining strong academic standards. Our mission is to develop knowledgeable, morally upright, and confident individuals who embody Islamic character in their conduct and learning. Through structured Islamic studies, general education, and attentive mentorship, TSIS aims to instill a love for knowledge, discipline, and service, preparing students to navigate the world with faith, integrity, and responsibility.

Curriculum Overview

At Texas School of Islamic Studies, our curriculum is rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah, nurturing strong faith, sound knowledge, and upright character in every student.

Qur’an reading with Tajweed, memorization from selected Surahs, understanding meanings, and building a lifelong connection with the Qur’an.

KG(Ages 5-7)

Introduction to Qur’an reading using the Easy Quran Reading Book, memorization of Surah Al-Fatiha and short surahs, learning basic Arabic letters and words, and building Islamic manners through engaging classroom activities.

Grade-1(Ages6-8)

Developing fluency in Qur’an reading with Easy Quran Reading Book, memorization of Surah Al-Fatiha to Surah An-Naas, and learning meanings of key words while strengthening Islamic character and discipline.

Grade-2 (Ages 7-9)

Qur’an reading using Easy Quran Reading Book, memorization of short surahs from Surah Al-Kawthar to Al-Lahab, and learning central themes, messages, and meanings of key words. Islamic Studies focus on Weekend Learning – Grade 2.

Grade 3 (Ages 8–10)

Qur’an reading with Easy Quran Reading Book, memorization of short surahs from Surah Al-Humazah to Al-Ma’un, and understanding central themes, messages, and key word meanings. Islamic Studies include Weekend Learning – Grade 3.

Grade 4 (Ages 9–11)

Qur’an reading using Easy Quran Reading Book, memorization from Juzz Amma (Surah Al-Adiyat to Al-Asr), and learning central themes, messages, and meanings of key words. Islamic Studies emphasize Weekend Learning – Grade 4.

Our Co-curricular Activities

Sadaqa Project

Students participate in charity initiatives where they learn the value of giving and helping others. Through the Sadaqa Project, students contribute to community support and develop compassion and social responsibility.

Pre-Eid Festivals

Our Pre-Eid celebrations bring students together to experience the joy of Eid through cultural activities, decorations, performances, and community gatherings that strengthen Islamic identity and unity.

Camping & Outdoor Activities

Students enjoy supervised outdoor experiences and camping activities that promote teamwork, confidence, leadership, and appreciation for nature while building strong friendships.
